RTE FAX for SAP can be used to send and receive faxes in an SAP environment. RTE FAX for SAP is based on SAP SAPConnect technology, which enables all modules using this type of flow to send and receive faxes.
This integrated solution is easy to deploy and manage. For the user, this simply means adding a messaging function to an SAP environment that he/she is already familiar with.

Sending a fax:
RTE FAX for SAP is easy to use: the SAP user simply sends the document to the Fax. SAPConnect sends the message using remote function calls to RTE FAX. RTE FAX converts the message, sends it as a fax and delivers a transmission report.

Receiving a fax:
Incoming faxes are delivered directly to the designated person or department. RTE FAX receives the fax, converts it and sends it to SAPConnect using a remote call function. SAPConnect delivers the message to the SAPOffice user and sends a status message to RTE FAX.
