SECURE AND MODULAR ARCHITECTURE
Secure
architecture
Being made up of NT services, RTE FAX does not require
the opening of Outlook or Windows session which is
mandatory in the case of secure architecture. The
active components being NT services, they use the
NT alert message administrator and events observer.
Whether these services are installed on a dedicated
machine or on the Exchange server, the optimum security
level is retained.
Multiple-site
and/or multiple-server architecture
The RTE FAX architecture enables you to use one or
more Fax or messaging service servers on one or more
sites. This highly open architecture enables you to
use the “Least Cost Routing” (LCR), “Load
balancing” and “Internet Fax” functions.
This high performance functions are easy to implement
due to the use of an automatic server synchronisation
procedure for the various sites.
In transmission, fault tolerance is used automatically
by the “Least Cost Routing” and “Load
balancing” modules. In reception, you can use
a redundant messaging service server in the event
of a duplicated messaging service architecture. In
this way, security is ensured irrespective of the
case in hand.
