From the moment the product is installed, all SMTP clients automatically have the advantage of Fax transmission and reception functions. In this way, without any further training, messaging service users can send a Fax in the same way as an e-mail. Message attachments are automatically converted into Fax pages, the cover page being created from the messages contents. The user can, depending on their rights, select the cover page, the billing account and the sending options to be used. Owing to DID routing, Faxes are received directly in the inboxes and can be annotated, signed, stamped and re-sent.

Print driver

The installation of a print driver enables users to send Faxes directly from all Windows and Macintosh applications. Using the same option, the user can access the Notes messaging service address books. In this way, transmitted documents pass through the "Outbox", and can be re-found in the "Items sent" box.

Mail-shots

In addition to the use of distribution lists, the creation of mail-shots is greatly facilitated by being able to use the use of Word's mail merge option. For large scale mail-shots, an interface with all the OBDC databases is available.
